KACHINA HEMIS (N°1, 2009)
30x40cm (12"x16")

The Kachinas are ceremonial dolls created by Hopi and Zuni Indians of southwestern United States. Hemis are one of the most colorful and beautiful of all Kachinas. This is the first kachina to bring mature corn to the people, indicating that the crop is good. (from Private Collection)

Remark: Pastel colors and natural materials are particularly well rendered in this super realistic hologram.
One of the very best ever made hologram of Yves GENTET.

Kachinas were very popular with the Surrealists.
